Good news texture lovers!
I've been working on a massive set of looping textures for a little while now, and just as they were ALMOST done ... Sander van Dijk went ahead and released his brain-shatteringly awesome script Ray Dynamic Texture, making the whole thing even better.
Because it's so good at organizing and adding textures, I went ahead and created a Ray Dynamic Texture-ready After Effects project that will work automatically with RDT when you open it. The loops are organized into four sets of ten: Grainy Loops, Gritty Loops, Liney Loops and Loopy Loops.
I hate to brag, but these textures are really good. I made them all myself, mostly in Photoshop by hand. They are all lossless 2K (2048 x 1556) black-and-white mattes, so you have some room to reposition them in a 1080 HD comp. The loops default to playing "on the twos" but can be sped up or slowed down easily in After Effects, especially when using RDT.
Here's my TUTORIAL about the pack, and how they integrate with Ray Dynamic Texture.
